Final stocks of varietal white wine reached 229 1,000 hl in 2016 in Germany, according to Eurostat. This is 12.3% less than in the previous year.

Historically, final stocks of varietal white wine in Germany reached an all time high of 509 1,000 hl in 2010 and an all time low of 154 1,000 hl in 2013.
