Foreign debt reached USD 3,185 bil in 2021 in Malawi, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 8.23% more than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Malawi reached an all time high of USD 3,444 bil in 2004 and an all time low of USD 135 bil in 1970.
