Foreign direct investments reached USD 33.9 bil in 2014 in India, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 20.3% more than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign direct investments in India reached an all time high of USD 43.4 bil in 2008 and an all time low of USD -0.036 bil in 1977.
India has been ranked 12th within the group of 169 countries we follow in terms of foreign direct investments.
