Hard coal production reached 91.7 kt in 2000 in Taiwan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 9.26% less than in the previous year.
Historically, hard coal production in Taiwan reached an all time high of 2,837 kt in 1980 and an all time low of 87.2 kt in 1998.
