Based on a comparison of 8 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in imports of bottled PGI wine with 7.00 1,000 hl followed by Spain and Netherlands. On the other end of the scale was Slovenia with 0.005 1,000 hl, Cyprus with 0.040 1,000 hl and Slovakia with 0.210 1,000 hl.
