Based on a comparison of 19 countries in 2022, Russia ranked the highest in buckwheat production with 1,222,382 tonnes followed by China and Ukraine. On the other end of the scale was Uzbekistan with 12.0 tonnes, Kyrgyzstan with 17.0 tonnes and Moldova with 103 tonnes.
