Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2015, China ranked the highest in copper (smelter) production with 5,500 kt followed by Chile and Japan. On the other end of the scale was Oman with 1.30 kt, Zimbabwe with 5.00 kt and Dem. People's Republic of Korea with 10.0 kt.
