Based on a comparison of 15 countries in 2015, Germany ranked the highest in number of inland waterway vessels with 1,168 vessels followed by Belgium and France. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with 13.0 vessels, Croatia with 19.0 vessels and Slovakia with 23.0 vessels.
