Expenditure of international tourism reached USD 9,271 mil in 2018 in Iran, according to Eurostat. This is 26.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Iran reached an all time high of USD 12,568 mil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 155 mil in 1998.
Iran has been ranked 37th within the group of 161 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism.
