Receipts of international tourism reached USD 1,611 mil in 2020 in Romania, according to Eurostat. This is 62.0% less than in the previous year.
Historically, receipts of international tourism in Romania reached an all time high of USD 4,240 mil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 306 mil in 1999.
Romania has been ranked 47th within the group of 117 countries we follow in terms of receipts of international tourism.
