Receipts of international tourism reached USD 1,076 mil in 2020 in Sri Lanka, according to Eurostat. This is 76.9% less than in the previous year.
Historically, receipts of international tourism in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of USD 5,608 mil in 2018 and an all time low of USD 282 mil in 1996.
Sri Lanka has been ranked 57th within the group of 117 countries we follow in terms of receipts of international tourism.
