Based on a comparison of 49 countries in 2013, Luxembourg ranked the highest in life & non-life insurance reserves as a percentage of GDP with 283% followed by Ireland and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Belarus with 0.532%, Kazakhstan with 0.569% and Albania with 0.637%.
