Lithium minerals production reached 10,000 tonnes in 2009 in Canada, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 54.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, lithium minerals production in Canada reached an all time high of 23,000 tonnes in 2007 and an all time low of 700 tonnes in 1984.
