Based on a comparison of 9 countries in 2015, China ranked the highest in mercury production with 1,861,000 kg followed by Mexico and Tajikistan. On the other end of the scale was Chile with 14,000 kg, USA with 15,000 kg and Morocco with 20,000 kg.
