Number of Pigs Holders by Herd Size (1 or 2 Pigs for fattening)

Based on a comparison of 14 countries in 2007, Romania ranked the highest in number of pigs holders with a herd size of 1 or 2 pigs for fattening with 197 '000 followed by Hungary and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Estonia with 1.00 '000, Latvia with 2.00 '000 and United Kingdom with 3.00 '000.
