Based on a comparison of 96 countries in 2021, Madagascar ranked the highest in real interest rate with 38.1% followed by Kuwait and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was Zimbabwe with -31.8%, East Timor with -30.2% and Suriname with -26.5%.
