Based on a comparison of 17 countries in 2015, Japan ranked the highest in selenium metal production with 772 tonnes followed by Germany and Belgium. On the other end of the scale was Serbia with 16.0 tonnes, Uzbekistan with 20.0 tonnes and Sweden with 20.0 tonnes.
