Sesame oil production reached 3,000 tonnes in 2014 in Iraq, according to Faostat. This is 14.8% more than in the previous year.
Historically, sesame oil production in Iraq reached an all time high of 10,843 tonnes in 2005 and an all time low of 650 tonnes in 1962.
Iraq has been ranked 33rd within the group of 60 countries we follow in terms of sesame oil production.
