Sesame oil production reached 24,600 tonnes in 2014 in Uganda, according to Faostat. This is 3.91% less than in the previous year.
Historically, sesame oil production in Uganda reached an all time high of 30,700 tonnes in 2012 and an all time low of 11,700 tonnes in 1991.
Uganda has been ranked 10th within the group of 60 countries we follow in terms of sesame oil production.
