Sesame oil production reached 1,133,084 tonnes in 2014 in the World, according to Faostat. This is 2.33% more than in the previous year.
Historically, sesame oil production in the World reached an all time high of 1,145,173 tonnes in 2012 and an all time low of 399,119 tonnes in 1961.
