Based on a comparison of 22 countries in 2011, Latvia ranked the highest in Share of Population reading Newspapers in the last 12 months by Education - At least once a week - Pre-primary, primary and lower secondary education (levels 0-2) with 43.8% followed by Poland and Slovakia. On the other end of the scale was Italy with 10.0%, Luxembourg with 12.1% and Finland with 12.3%.
