Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2022, India ranked the highest in silkworm cocoons, reelable production with 260,055 tonnes followed by China and Uzbekistan. On the other end of the scale was Syria with 1.00 tonnes, Egypt with 7.56 tonnes and South Korea with 11.5 tonnes.
