Based on a comparison of 42 countries in 2017, China ranked the highest in solar capacity as a share of worldwide installed photovoltaic power with 32.8% followed by USA and Japan. On the other end of the scale was Norway with 0.011%, Finland with 0.013% and Hungary with 0.075%.
