Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2016, Bulgaria ranked the highest in subsidies on fresh vegetables with EUR 21.1 mil followed by Hungary and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Sweden with EUR 0.130 mil, Slovakia with EUR 0.230 mil and Estonia with EUR 0.290 mil.
