Children in an Urban World (Unesco 2012)

It covers issues as diverse as sanitation, gangs and governance. It takes in the broad sweep of global trends and focuses on individual, concrete examples of positive practices in specific urban neighborhoods. Drawing on data from UNICEF and partners like WHO and the UIS, the report highlights the particularly complex set of challenges children and youth face in their development and the fulfillment of their rights.
