Raiffeisen Bank S.A. (or Raiffeisen Bank Romania) is a Romania-based universal bank with a 7% market share by assets. The Bank resulted from the merger of Raiffeisenbank  S.A. and the Romanian state-owned Banca Agricola. At the end of 2013, the Bank  served more than 2 million clients through 528 branches giving a job to more than 5,300 persons. The Bank offers a typical range of banking services and products for retail as well as corporate segment, but provides also investment banking and treasury services, asset management, private banking, or leasing, for example. The Bank is effectively a 100% subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI), which is one of the biggest players in the emerging Europe.
