The Bank is also involved in the capital market transaction and provision of domestic and foreign factoring, financial leasing, and offshore banking services. At the end of 2013, the Bank operated 312 branches and 469 ATMs and employed 4,150 persons. It primarily offers its products and services to tradesmen, SMEs, farmers, and business owners. The company was formerly known as Pancar Kooperatifleri Bankasi A.S. and changed its name to Sekerbank T.A.S. in 1956. Sekerbank T.A.S. was founded in 1953 and is based in Istanbul, Turkey.. In 1997, the Bank went public.
