ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria (or Raiffeisenbank Russia) is a Russia-based commercial bank. The Bank offers a typical range of banking services and products for retail as well as corporate segment, but provides also investment banking and treasury services, asset management, private banking, or leasing, for example. At the end of 2013, the Bank operated 187 branches, employed nearly 8,400 persons and held more than 1.2% of total bank assets in Russia. The Bank is effectively a 100% subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI), which is one of the biggest players in the emerging Europe. Raiffeisen has been operating on the Russian market since 1989. In 1996, the Raiffeisenbank ZAO has been opened in Moscow.
