Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of CNY 202,783 mil in 2018 and an all time low of CNY 1,044 mil in 2005. The average profit in the last five years amounted to CNY 187,946 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of CNY 609,779 mil in 2018 and an all time low of CNY 51,196 mil in 2001. The average revenues in the last five years reached CNY 551,065 mil.
Comparing Agricultural Bank of China with its closest peers, Home Credit China generated a net profit of CNY 1,297 mil with revenues of CNY 19,823 mil in 2018, Qudian netted CNY 2,491 mil (revenues of CNY 4,957 mil) and Lexin FinTech announced a net profit of CNY 1,977 mil (revenues of CNY 4,258 mil).
