Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 22.9% in 1967 and an all time low of 7.41% in 1992. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Botswana amounted to 2.74%, 29.3% in Mozambique, 2.41% in South Africa and 10.1% in Zambia in 2015.
