Value added of agriculture as a share of GDP reached 3.42 % in 2015 in Panama, according to Faostat. This is 3.21 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Panama reached an all time high of 10.2 % in 1989 and an all time low of 3.36 % in 2011. When compared to Panama's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Colombia amounted to 6.43 %, 6.03 % in Costa Rica, 14.5 % in Honduras and 18.1 % in Nicaragua in 2015.
