Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Moldova reached an all time high of 50.9% in 1992 and an all time low of 10.1% in 2009. When compared to Moldova's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Bulgaria amounted to 5.45%, 6.62% in Romania, 4.08% in Russia and 9.87% in Ukraine in 2015.
