Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Georgia reached an all time high of 65.9% in 1994 and an all time low of 8.38% in 2010. When compared to Georgia's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Armenia amounted to 22.1%, 5.52% in Azerbaijan, 4.08% in Russia and 8.88% in Turkey in 2015.
Georgia has been ranked 76th within the group of 153 countries we follow in terms of value added of agriculture as a share of GDP, 21 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
