Akbank accounted for 15.5% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Turkey at the end of 2015. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 16.9% in 2014 and an all time low of 11.1% in 2013.
That's compared to a 11.2% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2015.
