Apricot production fell 86.0% to 18.5 kt in Afghanistan in 2018, according to Faostat.

Historically, apricot production in Afghanistan reached an all time high of 132 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 17.9 kt in 2016. When compared to Afghanistan's main peers, apricot production in Iran amounted to 342 kt, 128 kt in Pakistan, 32.0 kt in Tajikistan and 34.2 kt in Turkmenistan in 2018.
