This translates into a net margin of 5.91%. Historically, the firm’s net margin reached an all time high of 9.95% in 2011 and an all time low of 3.10% in 2005. The average net margin in the last five years amounted to 6.50%.
On the operating level, EBITDA margin reached 7.77% and EBIT amounted to 13.7% of sales in 2017.
As far as Audi Group's peers are concerned, Volkswagen Group posted net and EBITDA margin of 4.92% and 15.6%, respectively in 2017.
