Banca Transilvania made a net profit of RON 454 mil under revenues of RON 1,393 mil in the fourth quarter of 2020, up 65.7% and 76.8% respectively when compared to the same period last year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of RON 608 mil in 3Q2019 and an all time low of RON -18.4 mil in 4Q2018. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to RON 394 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of RON 1,528 mil in 3Q2018 and an all time low of RON 80.5 mil in 1Q2005. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached RON 1,176 mil.
When compared to bank's main peers, BRD Groupe Societe Generale generated a quarterly net profit of RON 230 mil with revenues of RON 608 mil in 4Q2020.
