Bank BGZ BNP Paribas made a net profit of PLN 49.1 mil in the fourth quarter of 2017, up 2352% when compared to the same period of last year. This implies a return on equity of 3.02%.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of PLN 110 mil in 3Q2017 and an all time low of PLN -44.9 mil in 4Q2015. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to PLN 48.7 mil.
The bank generated its shareholders an average return on equity of 2.85% in the last five years with maximum at 6.83% and minimum at -3.77%.
When compared to bank's main peers, PKO BP generated a net profit of PLN 820 mil with ROE of 9.16% in 4Q2017, Pekao SA netted PLN 1,054 mil(ROE of 18.5%) and ING Bank Slaski announced a net profit of PLN 367 mil implying ROE of 12.6%.
