Bank deposits rose 10.5% to USD 1,731 bil in India in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank deposits in India reached an all time high of USD 1,731 bil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 12.8 bil in 1973. When compared to India's main peers, bank deposits in Bangladesh amounted to USD 121 bil, USD 13,054 bil in China, USD 111 bil in Pakistan and USD 48.4 bil in Sri Lanka in 2017.
