Bank equity reached 3,717 UGX bil in fourth quarter of 2016 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 0.373 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank equity in Uganda reached an all time high of 4,094 UGX bil in second quarter of 2015 and an all time low of 381 UGX bil in second quarter of 2005. When compared to Uganda's main peers, bank equity in Kenya amounted to 600 KES bil and 422 RWF bil in Rwanda in fourth quarter of 2016.
