Bank equity reached 431 RWF bil in first quarter of 2017 in Rwanda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.15 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank equity in Rwanda reached an all time high of 431 RWF bil in first quarter of 2017 and an all time low of 57.6 RWF bil in first quarter of 2008. When compared to Rwanda's main peers, bank equity in Burundi amounted to 227 BIF bil, 4,043 TNS bil in Tanzania and 3,880 UGX bil in Uganda in first quarter of 2017.
