Bank equity rose 8.17% yoy to SAR 339 bil in Saudi Arabia in 4Q2016, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.90% more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank equity in Saudi Arabia reached an all time high of SAR 339 bil in 4Q2016 and an all time low of SAR 175 bil in 1Q2009.

Saudi Arabia has been ranked 40th within the group of 95 countries we follow in terms of bank equity, 40 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
