Bank equity as a share of bank assets rose 0.246% yoy to 8.33% in South Africa in August 2019, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.12% less than in the previous month.

Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in South Africa reached an all time high of 8.80% in December 2017 and an all time low of 5.26% in October 2008.
