Bank of Communications generated total banking revenues of CNY 56,651 mil in the second quarter of 2019, up 9.07% when compared to the same period of last year and down 10% when compared to the previous quarter.

Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of CNY 102,241 mil in 4Q2015 and an all time low of CNY 24,597 mil in 1Q2010. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to CNY 55,688 mil.

Net interest income represented 62.1% of total revenues, fee income contributed 19.5% and other non-interest income added further 18.3% to the overall revenue generation in 2Q2019.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 2.29% total assets in the second quarter of 2019, up from 2.23% a year earlier.

When compared to bank's main peers, Home Credit China generated total revenues of 18.6% of assets in 2Q2019 Qudian operated with 41.5% revenue margin and Lexin FinTech produced total income worth 45.1% of assets.
