Bank regulatory capital reached 3,226 KZT bil in fourth quarter of 2016 in Kazakhstan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 0.503 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank regulatory capital in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 3,242 KZT bil in third quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 733 KZT bil in third quarter of 2009. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, bank regulatory capital in China amounted to 14,742 CNY bil, 29.7 KGS bil in Kyrgyzstan, 9,387 RUB bil in Russia and 8,460 UZS bil in Uzbekistan in fourth quarter of 2016.
