Bank regulatory capital reached 10.7 PAB bil in second quarter of 2016 in Panama, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.22 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank regulatory capital in Panama reached an all time high of 10.7 PAB bil in second quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 4.03 PAB bil in first quarter of 2005. When compared to Panama's main peers, bank regulatory capital in Colombia amounted to 83,364 COP bil, 3,493 CRC bil in Costa Rica, 40.8 HNL bil in Honduras and 22.3 NIO bil in Nicaragua in second quarter of 2016.
