Bank regulatory capital reached 3,526 TNS bil in third quarter of 2016 in Tanzania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.67 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank regulatory capital in Tanzania reached an all time high of 3,526 TNS bil in third quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 1,323 TNS bil in fourth quarter of 2010. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, bank regulatory capital in Kenya amounted to 576 KES bil, 3,560 UGX bil in Uganda and 8.30 ZMW bil in Zambia in third quarter of 2016.
