Banks' risk-weighted assets fell 12.0% yoy to EUR 40.3 bil in Cyprus in 1Q2016, according to the National Central Bank. This is 0.641% less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Cyprus reached an all time high of EUR 83.4 bil in 2Q2011 and an all time low of EUR 40.3 bil in 1Q2016.

Cyprus has been ranked 82nd within the group of 99 countries we follow in terms of banks' risk-weighted assets, 82 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
