Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 336 PEN bil in first quarter of 2017 in Peru, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.25 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Peru reached an all time high of 340 PEN bil in fourth quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 139 PEN bil in fourth quarter of 2010. When compared to Peru's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Bolivia amounted to 132 BOB bil, 3,828 BRL bil in Brazil, 163,357 CLP bil in Chile and 483,504 COP bil in Colombia in first quarter of 2017.
