Banks' risk-weighted assets reached 1,773 NOK bil in first quarter of 2017 in Norway, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.6 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, banks' risk-weighted assets in Norway reached an all time high of 2,397 NOK bil in second quarter of 2015 and an all time low of 1,718 NOK bil in fourth quarter of 2010. When compared to Norway's main peers, banks' risk-weighted assets in Denmark amounted to 1,787 DKK bil, 76.5 EUR bil in Finland, 2,331 ISK bil in Iceland and 2,784 SEK bil in Sweden in first quarter of 2017.
